I feel it's only fair to update John's family whenever I see mine, and my mom's coming over today so I thought I'd write about what we've been up to.
We got a new rug to help cover/protect the wood floor.
We took the wood paneling off of the walls in the blue room. You never know what surprises are waiting for you. Turns out it's a blue/orange/teal room.
Safeway was selling cereal for $1.50/box, so we loaded up. We're set for the winter.
John spent some more time on the fireplace drywall while I was at work.
I just asked John if we did anything fun this weekend that I could write about and he said, "we went to Target..." Sorry there's nothing more exciting to report.

Ryan and I bought a ton of cereal once when it was on sale. It was months till we finished it all. I think the house is looking a lot better. Keep up the good work.
Hey, we just bought a new rug too! But mine's not nearly so big.
I'm so glad Becky keeps this blog updated. I was afraid we would have to look at pictures of John skydiving for the rest of our lives! Your house is really starting to look good. Its completely transformed from its previous "90 year old man died here" ambiance. Try to keep those trips to Target under control. That's a lot of excitement for one week!
I love trips to Target! Those can be exciting especially when perusing the kitchen gadgets aisle. The house is looking good!
